The Ryder Cup epitomises the greatest traditions of international sporting competition, with no other golfing tournament coming close to the emotion, intensity and atmosphere of this esteemed event. Every two years 24 of the top players from Europe and the United States compete for the prestigious Ryder Cup trophy, guaranteeing the highest quality of play and immense drama.
The Celtic Manor Resort is set in the beautiful Usk Valley, just off the M4, less than two hours from London, within an hour of both Cardiff and Bristol and just five minutes from the Severn Bridge.
The Twenty Ten Course
The Twenty Ten Course is the first course to be built specifically for golf's greatest team tournament. It measures a robust 7,493 yards off the back tees and has a par of 71. The course has six signature holes, with many of these dominated by water hazards, presenting memorable tests and risk-and-reward dilemmas and creating great drama over the three days.
