From a US journalist about our Le Mans press liaison services

“Janice was by far one of the most professional of the public relations professionals I've worked with during my nearly four decades as a journalist. In 2003, I was covering topics such as climate change for the USA TODAY newspaper and Web site in the U.S. when I saw a news story about Team Nasamax running an ethanol-fueled car in the Sebring 12-hour race. I contacted Janice when I learned she was the team's public relations manager and told her that I would be covering the Le Mans, France, 24-hour race for USA TODAY that year and would like to write about the Nasamax effort to race an environmentally friendly car in the world's leading sports car events. and then to follow the team as part of the stories from LeMans, which I would be covering for the USA TODAY newspaper and website.

Janice supplied the background information I needed not only about the team but also the wider context of its effort. She arranged for me to talk with team members for my stories both before and during the race, ensuring I had the latest information about the Nasamax team. At Le Mans she was an invaluable guide to covering all aspects of the race, not just the Nasamax team. I had never been to Le Mans and, in fact, had not written about auto racing for two decades. Without her help I would have had a difficult time finding my way around Le Mans, much less writing about the race on USA TODAY's tight deadlines.

She even recommended a wonderful restaurant in the old part of Le Mans where my wife and I enjoyed a delightful meal the night before the race. In 2004 she continued helping me collect the information I needed for my stories from that year's race. She also helped my wife and I find a hotel room in the city of Le Mans. I highly recommend her for any organization, especially an auto racing organization, who needs a public relations professional who can work with not only the racing press, but the general press.” March 1, 2010
